Books and readers
Look under your faculty or study programme tab for information on how to acquire study materials.
Books
The student organization De Leidsche Flesch organizes a book market every year at the beginning of the year. During this book market you can order the books you need, sometimes at a discount. See also their website for more information.
The Leiden University library has a subscription to SpringerLink, a website of the German publisher Springer Verlag, from which one can freely download the pdf files of a great many books, and from which one can order paper versions at a reduced price. Some teachers use books that can be found on the SpringerLink website. The SpringerLink website can be accessed from the catalogue website of the library.
Readers
Some courses do not use books, but use readers. These readers are usually for sale at the secretaries office at the Mathematical Institute, Snellius office 203a. Please note that you can only pay cash!
