Research traineeship
The research trainees of the programme work on a research project together with two researchers from the academic staff. During their traineeship, students may for instance work on databases, investigate manuscripts, develop an app, conduct an experiment or publish an article. They may also present their findings at an (international) conference.
During the Research Traineeship Programme students work for 5,7 hours (0,15 fte) per week for 7 months. Projects are either in English or Dutch. Students receive monthly payment for their participation in the Research Traineeship Programme. They have to be registered with Leiden University as a student at the Faculty of Humanities for the duration of the traineeship.
