When to apply?

Registration for the LDE Sustainability Honours Programme is open from 2 September (9.00 hrs) until 6 October (22:00 hrs). You can apply by filling in and submitting the application form.

Admission requirements

• You are a motivated second- or third-year bachelor's student at Leiden University, TU Delft or Erasmus University with affinity with the topic.
• You are enrolled in a bachelor’s programme at one of the three universities for the entire duration of the programme. Students who will graduate in the meantime are not eligible to apply. 
• This extracurricular programme cannot be a part of your regular bachelor programme's elective space. 
• You meet the additional requirements below.

Leiden University and Erasmus University Rotterdam:

• You are in the second or third year of your bachelor 
• You completed your first year (propedeuse) in 1 year  
• Third-year students have obtained at least 45 EC from their second-year programme 
• You have a GPA of at least 7.5 

Leiden University students, please note: you can't participate in both the Honours College and an LDE Honours Programme. If you are accepted into the LDE Honours Programme, you will need to quit the Honours College.

TU Delft

• If you are a student from TU Delft, you can only apply if you are an Honours Programme Bachelor (HPB) student. 

Admission

Selection will be based on motivation, GPA and affinity with the topic. Students will hear whether they have been selected no later than October 16th. 

Note: Should you be admitted to the programme, the Honours Academy of Leiden University will finalise your enrolment. Therefore, you do not need to register in OSIRIS or uSis.

No additional fees

There are no additional fees associated with attending honours education at Leiden University.
