Prijswinnaars stimuleren contact met internationale studenten
Ideeën genoeg om contacten tussen Nederlandse en buitenlandse studenten te stimuleren. Drie voorstellen zijn op 7 november 2013 gehonoreerd met een prijs. De winnaars ontvangen een bijdrage uit het Van Bergen Fund om de plannen uit te voeren.

Politicologiestudent Lotte Krouwel heeft de Van den Berg Bachelorscriptieprijs 2015 gewonnen met een studie over decentralisatie in ontwikkelingslanden. Naar het oordeel van de jury heeft Krouwel zich onderscheiden door originaliteit, casusselectie en een heldere opbouw van de scriptie.

Faculteit W&N versterkt de samenwerking met China
De faculteit der Wiskunde en Natuurwetenschappen (W&N) heeft de samenwerking met China versterkt tijdens een groepsreis eind november. Afgevaardigden van vier instituten bezochten tien Chinese top universiteiten en interviewden meer dan 130 studenten tijdens PhD workshops in Beijing en Shanghai.
