Career Service Student Assistant
Hi guys! I am Kristina, and I am an Arts, Media & Society (AMS) graduate! I currently work as a student assistant for the Career Service Humanities, where I advise students on their CVs and motivational letters, as well as manage social media channels!
Throughout my time as a bachelor's student, I have heard from many people that finding a job will be more difficult with a humanities background, let alone with a degree in art history. I assume that many humanities students can relate to that because it is quite common to underestimate the immense power of art, culture, linguistics, philosophy, or history because it is difficult to measure the impact of these disciplines. After graduating from AMS, I immediately began looking for side jobs that I could do next to my MA program because I was eager to implement the skills I gained during my bachelor's. Shortly after that, I found a job within Career Services, where I work as a social media manager. I would say that this is by far my favorite job I have ever had because I have the creative freedom and ability to reach students and help them in their careers. As well as brainstorm about what else we can do to grow and attract new students!
