Examencommissie
Iedere opleiding heeft een examencommissie die toeziet op naleving van het Onderwijs- en Examenreglement. De examencommissie is onder andere verantwoordelijk voor de organisatie van de tentamens en examens. Ook bepaalt de examencommissie of studenten de kennis en vaardigheden beheersen die nodig zijn voor het behalen van het diploma.
De examencommissie van je opleiding wordt aangesteld door het Faculteitsbestuur. De examencommissie is verantwoordelijk voor de effectieve organisatie van alle tentamens en examens en waakt over de kwaliteit ervan. Als je iets wilt wijzigen in de door jouw opleiding vastgestelde studievereisten, bijvoorbeeld een vrijstelling of verlenging, is het de examencommissie die een besluit neemt over jouw aanvraag.

Each programme has a Board of Examiners. The scope of the boards authority and the department's applicable Rules and Regulations are laid out in two distinct but related documents, namely the Course and examination Regulations (OER) drawn up by the Faculty, and the Rules and Regulations (R&R), drawn up by the Board of Examiners.
The Board of Examiners has the following tasks:
- Safeguarding the quality of the examinations;
- Judging individual student’s requests, among others requests about exemptions, discretionary space, and internships;
- Treating cases of fraud;
- Presenting the binding study advice in the name of the Faculty Board;
- Appointing examiners.

In the OER and R&R, students can find everything they need about teaching-related issues such as:
- Registration procedures for and gaining admittance to exams and resits;
- The validity of completed exams and practical exercises (such as term papers);
- Policy for resits and requesting an extra exam;
- Evaluation, partial marks, the rounding of scores and determining the final mark;
- Fraud and plagiarism;
- Regulations pertaining to special circumstances

Fraud and Plagiarism
Cases of fraud and plagiarism are taken very seriously by the Board of Examiners and there is a penalty for plagiarism.
