Mentor
Your mentor is a senior student who will show you around Leiden University, provide advice and act as your first point of contact in the event of study problems or personal circumstances. If necessary, the mentor will refer you to other people or agencies. The student mentor also provides tips and explanations about dealing with studying, exams and the study programme's culture during the mentor meetings.
Tutor
In the bachelor's degree you also receive tutorials from the teaching assistants, these are senior students or young academics who also provide education in the bachelor's degree of our programme during their PhD training. In addition, you and your fellow students will delve deeper into the materials covered in the lectures.
