Programme
When deciding what to study you undoubtedly read a lot of information about your study programme. Leiden University employs various systems to provide information about programmes and courses and to facilitate communication between lecturers and students.
The Prospectus contains information about all the courses within your study programme. Here you can find all you need to know about your programme. Via the online learning environment Brightspace you can communicate with your lecturers and submit assignments.
Master Education and Child Studies
The master Education and Child Studies is one year (60 ects). Enroling is possible on September 1st or February 1st. Right at start you choose a specialization:

- Orthopedagogiek (in Dutch)
- Digital Media in Human Development
- Educational Science
- Forensische Gezinspedagogiek (in Dutch)
- Kinderen met Leer- en Gedragsproblemen in het onderwijs (in Dutch)
- Learning Problems and Impairments (International track)
Master Project
The master project forms the final element in all specialisations of the master’s programme in Education and Child Studies. Master Internship
