When deciding what to study you undoubtedly read a lot of information about your study programme. Leiden University employs various systems to provide information about programmes and courses and to facilitate communication between lecturers and students.
The Prospectus contains information about all the courses within your study programme. Here you can find all you need to know about your programme. Via the online learning environment Brightspace you can communicate with your lecturers and submit assignments.
The Politics, Society and Economy of Asia (PSE) specialisation is specifically intended for students interested in social science approaches to one or more countries or regions of modern or contemporary Asia, such as modern history, sociology, development economics, media studies, political science and international relations, and anthropology. Expertise in Leiden on modern Asia covers all Asian regions: East Asia; Southeast Asia; South Asia; Central Asia. Study of an Asian language at beginners level is an optional component of the course.
