When deciding what to study you undoubtedly read a lot of information about your study programme. Leiden University employs various systems to provide information about programmes and courses and to facilitate communication between lecturers and students.
The Prospectus contains information about all the courses within your study programme. Here you can find all you need to know about your programme. Via the online learning environment Brightspace you can communicate with your lecturers and submit assignments.
The History, Art and Culture Asian (HAC) specialisation is specifically intended for students interested in humanities approaches to one or more countries or regions of pre-modern, modern or contemporary Asia, such as history, literature, art and art history, media and cultural studies, religious studies, philosophy, or philology. Expertise in Leiden on Asia covers all Asian regions: East Asia; Southeast Asia; South Asia; Central Asia. Study of an Asian language at beginners level is an optional component of the course.
