The European Union Studies programme offers a broad and general introduction into recent developments of post-war Europe. The European Union is best characterized as an evolving project encompassing several interrelated issue areas. The programme therefore borrows concepts, theories, methodologies and models from economics, history, law and political science and concentrates them on the issue areas that form the core concerns of the European Union.
The degree contains of a series of disciplinary modules during the first semester and a wide range of specialist courses in the second semester. By writing a thesis, the students will explore a topic of their own choice in depth.
