Support for honours students

Are you in one of our honours programmes for vwo, bachelor or master? There are various ways you can get support, join a community or offer suggestions for improvements.

Student representative

The Assessor represents the interests of all honours students as a member of the board of the Honours Academy. The Assessor has a say in the development of policies and draws the Dean and the Educational Director's attention to the students' perspectives.

Students are invited and encouraged to contact the Assessor with any questions, suggestions or ideas related to their honours education! We are always looking for ways to improve our education, organisation and communication.

Well-being

Student well-being is one of the Honours Academy's top priorities. Additional to the Assessor, you can turn to various university employees for support. This includes psychologistsconfidential counsellors and the ombuds officer. With these professionals, anything can be discussed confidentially, including complaints

Accessibility

Do you have questions regarding the accessibility of a programma you are participating in or want to participate in? Please contact the coordinator of the specific honours programme.

Study associations for honours students

Do you want to be closer to your fellow students? A couple of programmes have their own study association. There is PREunion for PRE-University College students and alumni, and JHV Themis for students of the Honours College Law.

Do you consider founding your own honours study association? Feel free to contact the assessor (student representative) of the Honours Academy! They can think along and help you get in touch with the right people.
