Your most important rights and obligations as a student are laid down in the Student charter. How this statute is implemented is detailed in various faculty and educational regulations, for example your study programme’s Education and Examination Regulations (OER in Dutch).

After the May elections a new University Council has now taken seat. The university democracy is the result of the long-lived national student protests in 1969.
