Kimberley Roewen wins Moot Court trophy

The Moot Court trophy has been awarded for the fifteenth time! This time it went to the best oralist in the spring of academic year 2024-2025.

Kimberley Roewen scored a 9 (cum laude) for her oral arguments to the court, coming out on top in the ‘Agaatzorg Holding B.V.’ case.

Op 9 April, Tom Schoute from Wolters Kluwer and Clementine Breedveld-de Voogd, Moot Court Director, presented the trophy to Kimberley Roewen for her exceptional oral arguments.

Her Moot Court supervisors were Suzanne Kali (lecturer) and Tim Robbers (video trainer).

The trophy, provided by Wolters Kluwer, comes with €250 in prize money to be spent on textbooks.

This was the last time that Tom Schoute presented the prize on behalf of Wolters Kluwer as he will soon be retiring. Moot Court is most grateful to him for the part he played in establishing the Hans Nieuwenhuis Room (Moot Court room), now nine years ago, and in setting up the Wolters Kluwer trophy and corresponding prize.
