Gianclaudio Malgieri co-chairs the 8th Brussels Privacy Symposium
The 8th edition of the Brussels Privacy Symposium, co-organised in Brussels by the Future of Privacy Forum and the Brussels Privacy Hub on 7 October 2024, was a great success. More than 160 people from all over Europe and the world attended the event.
The event was introduced and chaired by Dr. Gianclaudio Malgieri (Associate Professor and Board member of eLaw, Leiden and Co-Director of the Brussels Privacy Hub) and Dr. Gabriela Zanfir-Fortuna (Vice President for Global Privacy of Future of Privacy Forum). The event was held at Atelier des Tanneurs, and it hosted four panels (one moderated by Gianclaudio Malgieri), one workshop, two keynote presentations and a lightning talk. The topic of this year was Integrating the AI Act in the EU Data Governance Ecosystem.
