Third prize for Bettina Schmiedler at Leiden University Thesis Awards
At the Leiden University Thesis Awards ceremony, law student Bettina Schmiedler won third prize for her socio-legal study on corporate social responsibility.
According to the jury, her thesis was well structured with a fluent writing style. ‘You ask questions that are socially relevant. You more than deserve this Leiden University Thesis Award.'
Schmiedler had previously won the Leiden Law School thesis prize.
The Leiden University Thesis Awards were announced on Saturday 11 February at the Dies for alumni. Annetje Ottow presented the prizes in the presence of the nominees' family and friends and also contributors to the Minerva Alumni Fund Year 1957/1961/1965, which funded the thesis prizes. The first prize was won by Everest Gromoll.
