Britain's biggest archaeology magazine has announced the nominees Book of the Year award and this time one of our own has been nominated!
The book ‘Doggerland. Lost World under the North Sea', coedited by Luc Amkreutz, a Professor by Special Appointment at the Faculty of Archaeology, has been nominated for ‘Book of the Year 2024’ by the Current Archaeology Book prize 2024.
In a recent review by Antiquity, they called it ‘an enjoyable and engaging book that I can highly recommend. It enlightens readers about the research on Doggerland from many angles and connects us with this distant past.’
You can vote for the book until the beginning of February on the website of Current Archaeology.
