International Exchange Coordinators

Leiden University College The Hague (LUC) offers a range of possibilities for students who want to spend a semester in another country as part of their academic programme. This means that students continue to be registered at LUC but study elsewhere; credits and grades obtained during the study abroad semester count towards the degree if the requirements are met.

The importance of studying abroad is evident:

·         It can improve students’ academic and language skills as well as their ability to maintain themselves in another culture.

·         It broadens students’ horizons and social networks in many ways and in the end it can also improve their possibilities on the job market.

·         It allows students to take courses in fields that are not on offer at LUC, yet complement the individual programme of the student well.

The information on this website offers you guidance in this exciting opportunity, from finding information to application procedures, financial and logistical matters.
