Art History Book Launches
Due to the pandemic, many books were published, but did not always get the attention they deserved. Authors lacked a festive moment at which their books could be launched. Therefore, the Leiden Department of Art History selected significant publications in its field inviting several authors to talk about their latest books. Their explanation was accompanied by a reflection of an expert in the specific areas of study. Thanks to the wide interest, this Fall we continue this tradition with three Online Book Launches. The subjects vary from games in the Middle Ages over images of miraculous healing to the Amsterdam Town Hall.
