Workshop Creating Meaningful Connections while Networking ( Vera de Groot) (ENG)

For many people, networking feels like awkward small talk and endlessly repeating the same conversations. But it doesn’t have to be that way! You'll learn how to make genuine connections in a short time, start conversations without forced small talk, and—most importantly—leave an event with new, meaningful relationships.

Workshop Finding Inner Peace for Your First Job Journey (Yiwen He) (ENG)

Thinking about your first job in the future can feel overwhelming. You might feel uncertain, face high expectations, or worry about making the wrong choice. These feelings can lead to stress, pressure to perform well, and being too hard on yourself. In this workshop, you will learn how to turn stress into inner peace when facing situations of uncertainty, pressure, and failure. This skill will help you navigate the transition from studying to your first job with less stress and pressure.

The workshop includes the following components:

  • Discussing the challenges of the transition from studying to the first job. (This includes the end of studies, exploring and applying for jobs, and the start of the first job.)
  • Learning how to transform limiting thoughts into helpful ones, empowering you to approach challenges with self-compassion.
