Leiden Bio Science Park is holding its Open Day and everyone is welcome! Always wanted to know what goes on in our buildings? This is your chance to find out! Join in workshops, games and lab tours. Whether you’re a student or lecturer at Leiden University or are just plain interested in bioscience, there is something for all.
There will also be a range of activities throughout Leiden and the Leiden Bio Science Park during Dutch Bio Science Week from Saturday 22 to Saturday 29 June.
The week will open in Hooglandse Kerk on Saturday 22 June with a talk by Andrea Evers, Professor of Health Psychology and will also feature a Babylab Leiden activity. There will be mini-lectures on topics including: depression in adolescents (Bernet Elzinga, Professor of Stress-related Psychopathology), nutrition (Jessica Kiefte, Professor of Population Health) and dealing with financial insecurity (Wilco van Dijk, Professor of Economic Psychology and its Applications).
Join in various activities from Sunday 23 to Friday 28 June such as boot camp and beach volleyball tournament at the USC and an XL version of the Life Sciences Café in Grand Café de Stal.
The week will culminate in the Open Day on Saturday 29 June at various locations at the Bio Science Park.
