About the event
The East Asia committee of BASIS is thrilled to welcome the NGO PSCORE on The Hague campus. Not only will the audience have the unique opportunity to learn about North Korean human rights abuses and internet freedom, but you will also be able the hear the rare, in-person testimony of Sugyeong Min, a North Korean defector who went through forced repatriation.

PSCORE stands for People for Successful COrean REunification. They are an NGO that fight for North Korean Human Rights.
PSCORE holds Special Consultative Status with the UN Economic and Social Council since 2012. Their global mission revolves around advocacy for North Korean human rights, with a core focus on empowerment through education and tutoring programs.
They strive for a unified Korea where all citizens enjoy democracy, prosperity, and fundamental freedoms.
