Going against Black Friday, when impulsive buying is leading to overconsumption, the Hortus is doing something different. Learn more about sustainability, nature and biodiversity during a guided walk in the gardens and glasshouses on 24 November and take a unique peek behind the scenes with one of our experts!
13:30 hrs: Endangered Plants Tour with our head of horticulture Rogier van Vugt (English spoken).
14:00 hrs: Searching for Hidden Biodiversity with PhD student Tim Claerhout and guide André Biemans (Dutch and English spoken).
It's required to register in advance. The walk is free of charge, you only pay entry to the Hortus. Free entry with a Museumkaart or student LU-card.
