On Tuesday, 12 September at 11.00 a.m., Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will enter into a conversation with students of Leiden University and The Hague University of Applied Sciences via a livestream. After his speech, several students will have the opportunity to ask questions to the president.
Programme
- 10.15 hrs.: Walk-in
- 10.30 hrs.: Emeritus professor Jaap de Hoop Scheffer on 565 days of war in Ukraine
- 11.00 hrs.: Speech and answering students' questions by President Zelensky
- 11.30 hrs.: Panel discussion led by Dr. Alanna O'Malley and attended by a representative of the Embassy of Ukraine in The Hague
Before connecting with President Zelensky, Emeritus Professor Jaap de Hoop Scheffer will speak briefly about the role of President Zelensky during the war in Ukraine. Afterwards, there will be a panel discussion with attendees led by Dr. Alanna O'Malley and attended by a representative of the Embassy of Ukraine.
