In the context of International World Refugee Day on Monday 20 June 2022, the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences organises this Meet & Greet. Like the purpose of the day itself, the faculty wants to honour all refugees by creating a moment to share experiences, acknowledge personal stories and specifically for this year: focus on the right to seek safety.
We would like to invite all members of our community who can relate to the narrative of having to flee a home to escape conflict or prosecution. After a welcome and short introduction, there will be opportunity to meet each other. In addition, it will be possible to talk to the members of the Faculty Board FSW and share insights or feedback with the Faculty Office (you can do so anonymously as well). We will serve vegetarian snacks and drinks.
