Following the landmark decisions in the Myanmar Situation at the International Criminal Court (ICC) which confirmed the ICC's jurisdiction over international crimes that occurred cross border and were completed in an ICC State Party (Bangladesh), significant questions remain over the application of this principle to other cases.
An expert panel will examine these important developments for international criminal law and the challenges ahead for the ICC in different situations including in Ukraine, Syria and for Uyghur victims subjected to deportations and disappearances.
Moderator: Carsten Stahn, Professor of International Criminal Law and Global Justice - Leiden University

- Sir Howard Morrison QC, former Judge of the ICC, Independent Adviser to the Prosecutor General of Ukraine;
- Rodney Dixon QC, Counsel acting before the ICC, Temple Garden Chambers London and The Hague;
- Laura Harth, Campaign Director at Safeguard Defenders.
