The importance of sleep for our (mental) health and performance is often quite underestimated. Sleep has been seen as the third pillar of health, next to exercise and nutrition. But actually, sleep is not a pillar but the very foundation of health. Sleeping well is essential for feeling well and staying on top of the demands of being a university student.
In this workshop, you will learn the theory behind sleep and get practical recommendations on how to sleep better. Topics of this workshop include:
- Sleep and our biological clock
- How sleep influences our body and brain
- Sleep hygiene: do's and don'ts!
- Techniques to worry less and relax more
