This Well-being Wednesday we host an event on how to stand out to employers when you are looking for an internship, volunteer work or a job. Standing out is not only focused on getting high grades or doing extracurricular courses. It also helps to know what your qualities are and how to translate that in a cv, motivation letter and during interviews. Which talents make you special?
Tips from an insider
This event will be organised by the Career Services of Leiden University and by CIROS (the student association of International Relations and Organisations). Lara, the current vice president of CIROS, will be joining us. She has done many internships and applied to even more, so she knows the fine details of how to stand out in your application.
As a member of the Election Committee, Lara will be conducting interviews for prospective board members of CIROS. She offers an student's perspective on how to navigate the competitive labor market full of IRO students as well as tips to apply for next year’s board, so be sure to join!
