The Leiden-Delft-Erasmus Universities (LDE) Centre Governance of Migration and Diversity invites you to the Masterclass on diversity and inclusion with prof. dr. Robert D. Putnam.
Robert D. Putnam is the Malkin Research Professor of Public Policy at Harvard University, and renowned for his books Making Democracy Work (1993), Bowling Alone (2000), Our Kids (2015) and The Upswing (2020) as some of the most cited, bestselling, and captivating books in contemporary social science.
This masterclass will focus mainly on his work and contribution to the field of migration and diversity studies, since it is 15 years ago that prof. dr. Putnam published E Pluribus Unum: Diversity and Community in the 21st Century (2007). The masterclass will therefore explore lessons learned and societal changes around his work that have emerged since then.
