Workshop: Mindfulness. Do you experience high study pressure and struggle to relax? Do you work harder and harder without experiencing true relaxation when you are free? Do you worry a lot and therefore cannot sleep well? Then this workshop is right for you. Kirsten van Antwerpen is a graduate psychologist, trainer and Mindfulness coach. How does mindfulness work? Mindfulness has its origins in Buddhism and Hinduism and has now become a part of modern psychology. In general, mindfulness is a tool for increasing awareness and thus being able to take conscious actions, rather than going along with whatever is asked of you in life. Mindfulness is awareness of present experience without judgement.
