The Faculty of Social Sciences (FSW) is pleased to invite you to a university-wide Iftar on 11 March 2025. This Iftar is organised in collaboration with Leiden University, POPcorner FSW, POPcorner The Hague and student association SABR.

An Iftar is the fast-breaking supper of Muslims during Ramadan.  

What to expect
The Iftar provides an opportunity to come together, and enjoy a shared meal. With this initiative, we want to contribute to getting to know better diverse cultural backgrounds within our university community.

For whom
This invitation to join the Iftar is intended for both students and employees of Leiden University (regardless of religion, language, background, origin) who want to experience an Iftar and who are open to exchanging knowledge and experiences about the diversity of cultural and religious customs of other nationalities and religions.

Everyone (employees or students of Leiden University) is welcome to participate in this Iftar. We have a maximum number of places. Participation is free of charge. To make this Iftar possible for more participants, we ask everyone to bring something (basic) to eat.
