Learning Quest (NL/EN)

Discover your own learning question and go on a quest (literally^^)

Teacher
Sophia van Ghesel Grothe  (Lecturer)
Method
Workshop
On-campus seminar

This workshop helps you to learn from within, autonomously and about yourself.
You will be asking a question about a topic that is currently presenting itself in your life as a special subject you would like to know more about. This learning question takes the form of: I want to learn...(*)

Instead of looking for answers on the internet or in books, you go out on a Quest with your question and use the information that comes in as a metaphor towards an answer. In this way, you try to connect with information you already unconsciously possess.

Even if there is no burning question at the moment, it can be helpful to join this workshop, so that you learn how to work with a learning question and can apply this when a special topic arises that you would like to know more about.

We will literally go on a quest outside, so please check the wheater conditions beforehand, so that you can join well prepared.

Examples of Learning Questions are:

I want to learn balance
I want to learn expressing myself both lovingly and openly
I want to learn choosing for myself
I want to learn feeling
I want to learn dealing with stress that choices bring
I want to learn trusting
I want to learn what makes me tick
I want to learn being in my power

Please note that this seminar can count as a module of the ‘Personal Professional Skills Lab’ for FSW first-year students of IRO, Political Science, Psychology and Cultural Anthropology studies.
Log in at www.learningmyway.nl to add this seminar to your PPSL modules, and answer the reflection questions before you come to the seminar.
