BACK ON TRACK - training for international students
If you feel emotionally out of balance and you could use some support, join the Back On Track group training. In 6 weekly sessions you will learn more about your mental health and how to explore and tackle important topics such as: stress, negative thoughts, self image, anxiety and loneliness. All sessions are based on a cognitive behavioral model that through practical exercises will help you learn how to cope better with these problems in your future.

‘The training was really helpful for me. What I really liked about this training was the sharing of tips, insights and personal experiences within the group. This gave me perspective and hope. I am now more aware of when I feel negative or anxious and I have gained tools to deal with this better. The group felt like a very safe environment, which made it easier for me to open up' .
Who can participate?
Students registered at Leiden University. It is important that you can be present at least 5 of the 6 meetings (preferably all 6).
If there are enough registrations (at least 4 students), the training can continue. The maximum number of students in one group is 10.
Registration
Students can register during a walk-in hour with a student psychologist. (if possible, book a walk-in hour with one of the trainers). Note: There may be a waiting period to participate in the meetings. If you have any questions about the training, please send an email to psychologen@sea.leidenuniv.nl.
