Working in the Netherlands for non-EU
This information session deals with the cultural and legal aspects of working in the Netherlands as a international non-EU student/graduate.

If you are a non-EU student/graduate and you are thinking about (starting) your career in the Netherlands during your studies or after graduation, you might have a lot of questions about the official rules and regulations. Or about the habits and do’s and don’ts in the Dutch working environment. During this information session we will provide you with the most important information regarding the legal aspects for non-EU students/graduates and the specific cultural challenges of working in the Netherlands.
Who can participate?
Non-EU students of the Leiden University and alumni within the first year after graduation. English will be the main language of this information session.

Speakers

Sofia assists both private individuals and corporate clients. She assists in procedures related to family migration, and advises on the possible retention of a right of residence after the termination of a relationship. She also assists private individuals with obtaining a residence permit as a self-employed person, or a permanent residence permit.

Muhyadin assists corporate and private clients with obtaining residence permits and visas for employment-related purposes and family reunification. In recent years, he specialized himself in advising on applications for residence and work on religious grounds.

Aimee studied Finance, Tax, and Advice at the HvA and has gained valuable experience through various internships in the tax field. She is an expert in the 30% ruling and is eager to assist you with this specialized tax benefit

Pim earned her Master’s degree in International and European Tax Law in 2019, fueled by a passion for navigating the complexities of international tax. At Broadstreet, she plays a key role in our tax department, expertly managing income tax returns and securing 30% rulings for our clients.
