Content
In this course you will draw cityscapes.
You learn skills to draw in any city. Nice if you are on vacation or want to explore your own city in a different way. By drawing in the city you look differently and you notice things that you normally do not see.
Every week we visit a different part of the city to get started. Our studio is therefore just outside and always in a different place. You will be drawing a lot with basic materials such as pen, pencil and eraser. Both technical and creative aspects of drawing are discussed.
Consider, for example, making a line drawing, working with tone (light / dark) and setting up a composition. Extensive attention is also paid to perspective. In addition, we will apply a number of techniques of the old masters (such as Rembrandt).
After this course you will have (more) drawing skills and you will walk through the city with a different view.
In rainy weather, a place is sought under a roof or bridge.
The course includes use of material during the lessons.
You can buy materials for at home at Terpentijn. The first lesson you receive a LAK student card that gives you a 10% discount at Terpentijn.
