What?
During the thesis kick-off you will follow two workshops that will help you to make a start with your thesis.
The two workshops that you will can follow are:
- Designing your thesis
- Planning your research
For whom?
Students from the Faculty of Humanities who have just started on their (bachelor or master's degree) thesis.
When and where?
The next workshops of the Thesis kick-off are planned on:
- The Hague (English) - 16 & 23 February
- Leiden (Dutch) - 14 & 21 February
Practical information
In this workshop, you will work on the building blocks of your thesis. Are the expectations from your supervisor clear? Is your subject clearly defined and is your research question correctly formulated? How are the components of your research linked? Under the guidance of a Writing Lab writing coach, you will search for the answers to these questions and make a start with your research design. This will give you an insight into how your research fits together and which questions you still need to answer.
