Welcome to Leiden Law School’s Student Support ! The Student Support team is here to help you with any questions – for instance about studying and the skills you need, your well-being, finding your way around the faculty, personal development, choice of study and career-related questions, diversity & inclusion, or preparing for the job market.
Community building at KOG
Studying at university can be great fun, but it can also be a challenging experience. You have to attend lectures, read books, revise for exams, work on assignments, and then you also have to deal with all kinds of other practical things. We understand that this may seem like a lot to cope with. You can also discuss practical matters related to your study with your study adviser. But wouldn’t it be great if you could also turn to fellow students? To give each other advice, share experiences, even share your frustrations, or just offer some support to each other, have a coffee together or share tips on how to prepare for exams. A small gesture can do a lot to make everyone happier!
Acts of Kindness Pilaar
The Acts of Kindness Pillar helps students (and staff) to easily ask for help or to offer their help to others. It’s like the advert board at supermarkets: hang up a note offering a friendly gesture or requesting something. An act of kindness doesn’t have to be very grand; lending a book to someone, having a coffee, going for a walk, or practising a different language. Come and take a look – you’ll find it at the KOG restaurant!
World Map
On the stairs going to the first floor at the KOG, you’ll find the world map. Everyone is invited to add a flag to the map showing where they were born or grew up. By doing so, we can show our students and staff just how diverse our faculty is. You’ll be surprised!
