Take free music or singing lessons at the Royal Conservatoire The Hague
Are you a Leiden University student, and do you want to make music (again) or sing? Sign up as a pedagogical student at the Royal Conservatorium The Hague!
As a pedagogical student you will receive weekly lessons for 15 weeks from an undergraduate student from the Classical, Vocal, Jazz or Early Music departments. Lessons take 45 minutes on average and take place in the conservatoire's building: Amare, near the Leiden University The Hague Campus. You agree with the student which day and time you will take the lessons.
What do you need to know
- Period: September 2025 to January 2026
- Level: from beginner to advanced
- You will need to bring your own instrument
- Daily practice and weekly attendance are important
- Lessons may be (partly) in English
- Sometimes lessons are recorded for educational purposes (always by agreement)
Registration is possible until 31 May 2025
You will be notified before the summer holidays whether you have been placed. For popular instruments, there are often more applications than places, so please also indicate a second preference.
