Get published as a student: Inter-Section call for papers

7 April 2025

Are you a BA/BSc or (R)MA/(R)MSc student? Did you wrote an assignment or an internship report on which you spent a lot of time or which you are particularly proud of? Do you want to publish (a chapter of) your thesis? Do you simply have ideas that you want to get out there? Then, Inter-Section is the place for you!

Submit your paper

Inter-Section is looking for suitable publications for the 6th edition of the journal. Rather than focusing on a specific aspect of archaeology, or a specific period, the journal aims to showcase the broader archaeological field of student-led research.

The deadline for submitting paper proposals (abstracts) is June 30th. If you are interested you can submit your proposal through this form.

NB: Inter-Section is working on a special issue dedicated to the archaeology of the Americas. If your research is based on this area it is possible to submit your proposal for this special issue. How? On the proposal submission form (see link above) you can select to submit for the special issue or the regular issue!

Special issue proposal submission deadline is June 30th.
