Your artwork could soon grace a wall in the KOG building!
Are you an art lover with the talent to bring a drawing to life? Or do you just enjoy drawing and painting? Then look no more! Leiden Law School is organising a unique mural competition where your design will be immortalised on a wall in the KOG building! Submit your design until 16 February!
The mural competition is part of Leiden University and Leiden Law School’s 450th anniversary celebrations. Since our anniversary theme is ‘ahead of the times’, you can use digital tools to create your design.
Who can take part?
Everyone! Professional or amateur, young or old, student or employee – if you’d like to help produce an amazing piece of art, you’re welcome to take part.
How can you join in?
We have full faith in your creativity. But perhaps these themes might be helpful for your design:
- Leiden University
- 450th anniversary
- Leiden Law School (Law and Criminology degrees)
- Leiden and The Hague
Please submit your design, drawing or painting, in digital form. Your design will be traced onto a wall in the KOG and staff and students (including yourself of course, if you wish) are allowed to help. As the winning designer, you can choose whether you would like to be involved in the actual painting of the mural.
Is there a prize?
Besides the sheer glory of your design gracing a wall on the ground floor of the KOG – where hundreds of students and staff will pass by every day and admire your artwork – there will also be a small prize.
