Join the Una Europa Epilepsy Data Challenge Deadline 20th of January

5 December 2024

Master’s students and PhD candidates: join the Una Europa Epilepsy Data Challenge! Collaborate across disciplines, apply your programming skills, and innovate in epilepsy research.

During the challenge, participants will use Machine Learning models to detect seizure events in data from over 200 epilepsy patients, based on a unique dataset from KU Leuven university hospitals. The challenge begins on 3 February with an online workshop, followed by the dataset release and regular Q&A sessions to support participants.

In April, a hybrid workshop will bring participants and Una Europa experts together to present and discuss findings. High-scoring participants may win a funded trip to Leuven for the workshop and results may be featured at the 2025 EMBC Conference in Copenhagen.
