The Hague Climate Council is looking for members and a chairperson

The municipality of The Hague is setting up a Climate Council charged with providing the municipality with advice. The Hague Climate Council will have 16 members and a chairperson, including residents of the city, business representatives and experts. Knowledge institutes are also invited to apply. Staff and students of Leiden University Campus The Hague are also very welcome!  

Climate Agreement 
The Climate Council will provide advice on the Hague Climate Agreement. This agreement contains 38 protocols on such issues as clean energy, clean transport, recycling of products and materials, and protection against extreme weather.

The deadline for applications is 8 September 2024, and interviews will start in September. The municipality will present the members and chairperson of the Climate Council to the city during The Hague Climate Week, which will take place in the week of 11 to 17 November 2024.
