Important to know before going on fieldwork
It is that time of the year again! Many of you will flock out to participate in fieldwork projects abroad as well as in the Netherlands. We would like to take this opportunity to wish you a fantastic fieldwork season!
When you are going abroad on fieldwork, make sure to register in the study abroad portal. (uSis) By doing so, you enable the University to contact you in case of an emergency abroad. See the website on going abroad for more information on how to prepare.
We also urge you to take a look at the renewed Code of Conduct for Archaeological Fieldwork to get a firm grasp on your rights and obligations during fieldwork projects that are organised by Leiden University. If you participate in fieldwork projects that are not organised by our University, please let the study advisers know if you encounter issues.
