Vote now! Faculty Council elections
Between 22 and 25 April, you can vote for the person who you want to represent students in the Faculty Council. The Faculty Council represents both students and employees of the faculty and serves as a sounding board for the Faculty Board. It has both the right of consent and the right to prior consultation on many matters relating to the faculty.
By voting for the student you would like to see on the Faculty Council, you ensure that the elected students represent you and your opinions! This year, you can vote for students in the ONS and LSP parties to join the Faculty Council. Visit their websites and Instagram pages to find out their perspectives on various matters.
Rachel Gooijer, lead candidate ONS
‘Ondernemende Studenten Leiden (meaning ‘Entrepreneurial Students Leiden’, ONS) is here to represent active students. After all, we believe student life is about more than just following a study programme. At Leiden Law School, our top priorities include promoting extracurricular development among all students, taking a critical approach to the Faculty Board’s policies and making our faculty more sustainable. Student and employee well-being is also one of our top priorities. Vote for change, growth and sustainability. Vote for ONS!’
Hannah Hilberink, lead candidate LSP
‘Having had the privilege to sit on the Faculty Council over the past year, I’d like to continue for another year! On behalf of LSP, I want to help improve transparency towards students about what goes on at our faculty. If you have any questions, feel free to send me or LSP a message!’
