We are in the middle of our current academic year but we are already looking forward to the arrival of our new cohort of students: the Class of 2027! The Introduction Week for the new students, as well as the exchange students, takes place in August. We are looking for a group of enthusiastic mentors to help welcome them to LUC. During the mentor meetings we will get the chance to bond, prepare and turn you into super Intro Week mentors.
Pre-Union
We will welcome a group of new students to LUC during the LUC Pre-Union. During this event they will get the chance to get to know their future classmates, RA's, Fortuna members, LUC staff and the Intro Week Mentors. We are hosting two sessions to accommodate students in different time zones. Depending on availability, we will make two groups. So you do not have to attend both sessions.

- Friday 14 June: 10:00 - 11:30
- Location: Online
Mentor Training Days

During the Mentor Training Days we will discuss the programme in detail and work on the final preparations together.
Move-in Days
- Dates: Saturday 17 & Sunday 18 August (approx. 09:00 -17:00)
All new students will collect their keys on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 August on the 1st floor of AvB. As you can imagine these will be very busy days and we, together with the housing team, are responsible for making this an efficient but also fun event. Our mentors will be the hosts of this event and will also be managing the information desk. You will be assigned to help on one of these days, for a couple of hours.

The new students and exchange students are divided into groups and each group has two mentors to guide them through the week. This will be your time to shine as a super Intro Week Mentor!

Social media content manager
Job description:
The social media manager mainly uses Instagram as a social media platform. Specifically, the class account (Class of 2027) and the Intro Week account.
Before Intro Week, you come up with a logo and/or template for social media posts. You participate in the Pre-Union and share relevant information about this on social media. It is also around this time that you help manage the class account, namely posting student introductions regularly. As Intro week comes closer, you make sure to introduce the Intro Week account to the Class of 2027.
During Intro Week, you upload content. Generally, this includes Insta stories about important information and events of the day, as well as posts that recap each day. This can be flexible depending on your creativity and time. You are free to choose how to present and post what is required. And you can add other content as well (ex: testimonies at the end of each day).
