Let your voice be heard on the Faculty Council Archaeology
The Faculty Council (FR) elections are fast approaching, and we are looking for new student members for 2024-25. This is your chance to have a voice within the Faculty of Archaeology! The Faculty Council represents the interests of both students and staff members, and advises the Board on all matters relating to the daily functioning of the faculty. Moreover, our members can bring up issues they care about and help to solve them. This could include student wellbeing, study related matters, sustainability, internationalization, and more!
The council consists of three staff members and three student members. The three positions for student representatives are open to all Faculty of Archaeology students, regardless of language, background, or year of studies. A term on the council lasts one academic year.
You can register as a candidate from March 26th onward, via this form. Note that applications close on March 27th at 4pm. If you would like more information about co-participation and the elections, visit the university elections website. If you have any questions about being a Faculty Council member, feel free to contact our current student members. Alternatively, you can send us a message via Instagram, or email us at faculteitsraad@arch.leidenuniv.nl.
