Update Phase 2A - First moves begin and the new main entrance is open from 2 April!
It's almost time! The moving to the new Gorlaeus Building is about to start! As from 4 March, the Leiden Institute of Chemistry (LIC) will move to the new building. On Thursday 7 March and Friday 8 March the Faculty Office will move and on Thursday 13 March and Friday 14 March, the Mathematics Institute (MI) will move .
New, new, new!
Main entrance
From 2 April 2024, the new main entrance at the Einsteinweg will be open. Until then the entrance to the Gorlaeus Building will be via the regular route through the Huygens and LMUY.
Brasserie
The Science brasserie will be located in the new building. You will find the brasserie on your right when you enter the building. The brasserie is expected to be open from the beginning of April.
Bicycle parking
From 2024/2025, you will be able to park your bicycle in the new bicycle parking. Until then, the temporary bicycle parking facility at the Einsteinweg will be expanded. You can also park your bicycle in the closed bicycle parkings under/near the Huygens.
