Hannah Saberi new assessor at Leiden Law School
As of mid-November 2023, Hannah Saberi is the new student assessor at Leiden Law School. She succeeds Julie Külsen who held the position for more than two years.
An introduction
'Hello, my name is Hannah Saberi, the new assessor at our wonderful faculty! I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in criminology and am currently completing a master’s degree in forensic criminology. I’m looking forward to being the assessor and have already been to many interesting meetings and events where I met many new people!'
'One of my goals this academic year is to create more visibility for what is going on at the faculty and the role students can play in this. One of the ways I’d like to achieve this is by actively using the Instagram page. So follow @assessorlaw to find out what I’m getting up to and what you can do as a student at the faculty! In addition, you can always send me an email via assessor@law.leidenuniv.nl or drop by during office hours on Thursdays 13.00-14.00 in B4.32!'
And a farewell
Julie is handing over the role of assessor with full confidence: 'With all her experience as a student ambassador, Hannah will undoubtedly do a fantastic job of representing the voice of students on the Faculty Board. I've enjoyed being a part of various developments at the university and faculty, such as the Covid pandemic, a new educational vision for the bachelor’s programme, the student Living Room, the boards of around 60 different study associations and lots of meetings – I look back on my time as assessor with pride.'
