Wijnhaven building open again from Monday 16 October
The Wijnhaven building on Leiden University’s Campus The Hague will be open again from Monday 16 October. All teaching, research and other scheduled activities will return to normal as of Monday. This is the decision of the university’s Executive Board. The building was temporarily closed on 13 October because of an increased security risk. Police investigations show that this is no longer the case, which means the Wijnhaven building will reopen its doors on Monday.
We can imagine that our students and staff may have questions about the temporary closure of Wijnhaven. Unfortunately, we cannot comment on the reason for the closure. The Executive Board had to take this action to ensure the safety of our academic community.
