What are Bachelor Honours Classes?

Bachelor Honours Classes are small-scale, interdisciplinary courses that make you go beyond the borders of your regular study. They focus, for instance, on fixing societal issues or on the development of skills that are addressed less in your regular study. The offer of classes can be found in the prospectus.

For students of the Honours College, following a Bachelor Honours Class (in their second or third year of study) is mandatory. There are, however, also some spots available for regular third-year students. The number of available spots for regular students varies per class. 

Registration Bachelor Honours Classes now open!

Registration is possible via our online registration system honoursacademyleiden.nl until 19 November 23:59 hrs. You don’t have to register in uSis. You will be asked to fill in your personal information and a short motivation for the Bachelor Honours Classes you would like to follow. 

Selection

To preserve small-scale education, a selection will take place based on small motivation letters. We offer you the option to fill in your 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th choice of Honours Class. After the registration period, the teachers will select students for their Bachelor Honours Class. The results of the selection of the second semester will be released via email on 4 December.
